After losing a parent in childhood and weathering through a troublesome adolescence, he found refuge and empowerment through music.

Brek's eclectic sound features elements as contrasting as pop, rock, urban, folk and fusion; John Mayer meets Prince and Santana.

The versatile young artist sharpened his teeth listening to diverse types of music, and more importantly, performing extensively throughout local scenes internationally.

His relationship with music started at an early age, when he started to write his own songs as a teenager growing up in southwest Florida, inspired by late 90s/early 2000’s radio hits by the likes of Santana and Matchbox Twenty.
