Once every few months, the Sarasota/Bradenton area's finest blues music performers get together and give a full-throttle performance to raise money to help local charities. Every event is performed on behalf of a different charity, and the spirit of giving comes alive in the local talent that performs.

Ladies Sing the Blues was founded by Steve Arvey in 2011, to make the community aware of the amazing talent among women who sang, played, and dedicated themselves to following in the footsteps of Etta James, Janis Joplin, and Bonnie Raitt, just to mention a few.
